Argentina is located in South America. It shares its borders with Bolivia,
Brazil, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay. Being in the Southern part of South America,
Argentina is the closest continental land mass to Antarctica.
The country has a continental area of almost 2.8 million square kilometres. It is 3800 kilometres long and extends from latitude 22 degrees South to 55 degrees South.
Argentina’s perimeter is 9,376 kilometres, and its coast on the Atlantic Ocean is 5,117 kilometres long.
